Dr Robert Isaacs

Dr. Robert D. Isaacs, DDSDr. Isaacs is a native of Baltimore. A graduate of the Gilman School, Dr. Isaacs received his BA from Johns Hopkins University. He then graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland Dental School and remained there to complete his certificate training in orthodontics. Upon graduation, Dr. Isaacs was awarded The Daniel Sheehan Award of Achievement of Academic and Clinical Excellence in the Field of Orthodontics. Dr. Isaacs is a lifetime Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Isaacs is also a member of both, OKU and Phi Kappa Phi national honor societies, as well as the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. In his spare time, Dr. Isaacs enjoys spending time with his wife Betsy, their two daughters, Jessie and Annie and their many pets.

Dr. Scott Nawy:

Dr. Scott Nawy, DDS, MADr. Nawy was born in Queens, NY and raised in Marlboro, NJ. He received his BA from SUNY Binghamton in 1990 and his DDS from Columbia University in 1994. He was awarded the Department of Orthodontics Award of Excellency. Dr. Nawy continued his training at Columbia where he received his certificate in orthodontics, as well as his Master of Arts for his presentation on the effects of estrogen on root resorption. Dr. Nawy is a lifetime Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.  In addition, he maintains an active membership in the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the American Equilibration Society and the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society. Dr. Nawy relocated to Baltimore in 1997 and joined the orthodontic practice of Drs. Solomon and Isaacs. He is a Deans Faculty member at the University of Maryland Dental School and on the staff of Sinai Hospital. Dr. Nawy currently lives in Reisterstown with his wife, Elana, their two sons, Sam and Ben, and their dog Soho.

Dr. Thomas Olson:

Dr. Olson was born and raised in Maryland. He completed his BS degree in 2000 from Salisbury University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Houston, Dental Branch in 2007. He completed a three-year residency program in Orthodontics at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dentistry in 2010 where he received his Master of Science Degree in Oral Biology and Certificate in Orthodontics.

Dr. Olson has received numerous awards throughout his academic career including the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society Scholarship for academic performance, as well as the University of Texas, Dental Branch Dean's Excellence Letter. He was also a recipient of the American Association of Dental Research Fellowship for investigating the bioengineering of human tooth root implants. Dr. Olson completed his Masters thesis investigating the role of geniohyoid muscle activity and movement of the hyoid bone during swallowing. His work was performed in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine. In addition to performing research, he has also served on the cleft palate team at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

In his spare time Dr Olson enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa, and his two sons Tyler and Evan. He also enjoys home improvement projects, playing Guitar Hero, and he is a big fan of the Baltimore Ravens.
